LINC Houston

"LINC Houston-God's Word In Action" is a short documentary
that was produced for entry into the second annual Christian Film
Festival in San Antonio Texas. The film was shot in various areas
in the city of Houston. The budget was somewhere between no
and really low.

In May of 2001 the Lutheran Inter-City Network Coalition (LINC)
was formed to undertake the great challenge our church faces in
reaching people in the urban, multi-cultural and ethnically diverse
environment that exists in Houston, Texas. This documentary
gives an overview of how the ministry works, why people do it,
and a vision of its future. It shows the people involved with LINC,
in action, serving God by serving others. Interviews with the
executive director, program director, an evangelist, and various
volunteers in the program reveal how effective this program has
been at bringing Jesus Christ into the lives of inner city
immigrants.
